About Us
Ontario Weimaraner Rescue and Assistance(OWRAssist) is a not for profit volunteer run foster-based dog rescue dedicated to the health and well being of the Weimaraner.
At this time we have no dogs available for foster/ adoption
These beautiful and charismatic animals are our passion. Founded in 2009, our purpose is to rescue Weimaraners from situations that are not ideal and assist in finding them loving forever homes.

What We Do
We work with owners surrendering their dogs, with shelters and Weimaraner rescues across North America to bring Weimaraners to loving homes across Canada.
Wherever possible, we aim to have homes for our dogs before they come into our care, so please fill out an application if you are interested in adopting a Weimaraner and we will attempt to match one that will suit your families requirements!
We have a group of selfless volunteers who work together to transport dogs from far and near to their new homes.
Volunteers also help with fundraisers and conducting home visits.
